Ingredients
1 cup plain yogurt2 tablespoons sugar1 tablespoon honey1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakesFRITTERS:1 can (15 ounces) chickpeas or garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained1 teaspoon ground cumin1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon garlic powder1/2 teaspoon ground ginger1 large egg1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro2 green onions, thinly sliced
Preparation
Preheat air fryer to 400°. In a small bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients; refrigerate until serving.
Place chickpeas and seasonings in a food processor; process until finely ground. Add egg and baking soda; pulse until blended. Transfer to a bowl; stir in cilantro and green onions.
In batches, drop bean mixture by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased tray in air-fryer basket. Cook until lightly browned, 5-6 minutes. Serve with sauce.
