6 bacon strips, diced1 small onion, diced1 package (16 ounces) frozen cut green beans1 large tart apple, chopped3 tablespoons brown sugar3 tablespoons cider vinegar2 tablespoons dried parsley flakesSalt and pepper to taste
Preparation
In a large skillet, cook bacon and onion over medium heat until bacon is crisp. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until the apple and beans are tender.
