Ingredients

6 bacon strips, chopped1 medium onion, chopped2 tablespoons cider vinegar1/4 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper1-1/2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Preparation

In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp, stirring occasionally. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towels. Pour off all but 1 tablespoon drippings. Saute onion in drippings until tender. Stir in vinegar, salt and pepper.

Meanwhile, place beans in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Bring to a boil. Cook, covered, until crisp-tender, 4-7 minutes; drain.

Place beans in a large bowl; toss with bacon and onion mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
