A few things to note: Don’t worry if your bites come out a little cracked. That’s part of the fun, and totally normal. Plus, the bacon wrap should do its duty of holding everything together. If you’re worried about it, check back in on the bites every now and then to see how they’re coming along as they bake. As long as the bacon is cooked through, you can pull them out from the oven whenever you like. For a sweeter variation, use maple-smoked bacon and add a light drizzle of honey to your crackers, or for a spicy note, top with a dash of hot sauce. It’s your party! Make it as sweet or spicy as you like. Want more fun bacon ideas? Try out this bacon jam next! Editor’s Note: The recipe title for this dish was changed on July 9, 2020.
