4 cups torn romaine1 cup shredded Swiss cheese3/4 cup real bacon bits1/2 cup salted cashewsDRESSING:3 tablespoons brown sugar2 tablespoons water2 tablespoons red wine vinegar2 tablespoons olive oil1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion1/4 teaspoon poppy seeds1/4 teaspoon ground mustardDash salt
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the romaine, cheese, bacon and cashews. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the dressing ingredients; shake well. Pour over salad and toss to coat. Serve immediately.
