Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter2 bone-in pork loin chops (3/4 inch thick)1/4 cup chopped onion1/4 cup maple syrup2 tablespoons water1 tablespoon cider vinegar2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon chili powder1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, heat butter over medium heat. Brown pork chops on both sides. Transfer to a greased 11x7-in. baking dish; sprinkle with onion.

In a bowl, mix remaining ingredients; pour over chops. Bake, covered, until a thermometer inserted in pork reads 145°, 15-20 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
