Ingredients

3 to 3-1/2 pounds pork spareribs1 medium onion, chopped1 cup ketchup1 cup hot water2 tablespoons cider vinegar2 tablespoons vegetable oil1 tablespoon brown sugar1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon ground mustard1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Place in a single layer in a 15x10x1-in. baking pan. Bake at 325° for 30-35 minutes; drain.

In a large saucepan, combine the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Pour over ribs. Bake 50-60 minutes longer, basting occasionally. Cut into serving-size pieces.
