Ingredients
1 bottle (18 ounces) barbecue sauce1/2 cup amber beer or root beer1/4 cup cider vinegar2 green onions, chopped2 tablespoons dried minced onion2 tablespoons Dijon mustard2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce4 garlic cloves, minced1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts12 hamburger buns, split and toasted24 cooked bacon strips12 lettuce leaves
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine the first 9 ingredients. Place chicken in a greased 4- or 5-qt. slow cooker; pour sauce over top. Cook, covered, on low , 3-4 hours or until tender.
