Ingredients

4 large potatoes, cubed2 pounds smoked sausage, cut into 3/4-inch pieces2 bottles (12 ounces each) beer2 cups reduced-sodium chicken broth2 ribs celery, sliced1 medium onion, chopped2 garlic cloves, minced2 bay leaves1/2 teaspoon minced fresh thyme1/4 teaspoon minced fresh rosemary2 tablespoons butter, cubed

Preparation

In a 6-qt. slow cooker, combine the first 10 ingredients. Dot with butter. Cook, covered, on low until vegetables are tender, 8-10 hours. Discard bay leaves before serving.
