1/4 c. grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
1/4 tsp. kosher salt
Freshly ground black pepper
1 (20-oz.) package refrigerated ravioli
Cooking spray
Pesto or marinara, for serving
Preparation
Step 1In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and milk. In another shallow bowl, combine bread crumbs and Parmesan; season with salt and a few grinds of pepper.Step 2Working one at a time, dip ravioli into egg mixture, then into bread crumb mixture, pressing to adhere. Dip back into egg mixture. Place on a plate.Step 3Lightly coat an air-fryer basket with cooking spray. Working in batches, arrange ravioli in basket, spacing about 1/4" apart; spray with cooking spray. Cook at 400°, flipping halfway through and spraying with cooking spray, until golden and cooked through, about 7 minutes.Step 4Arrange ravioli on a platter. Top with more Parmesan. Serve warm with pesto alongside for dipping.
We go for cheese ravioli here, but if you’d rather go with a different filling, be our guest. Anything you can get your hands on would work well in this recipe, from butternut squash-stuffed to meat-filled to mushroom. There’s no need to boil the ravioli before air frying. They cook through in about 7 minutes thanks to ravioli’s fresh exterior. (Don’t try this method with dried pasta!) You can also put ravioli in the air fryer without breading. It will be more like a cheesy pasta chip rather than a crunchy fried For more cozy ravioli ideas, try One-Pan Ravioli Shakshuka, Zucchini Ravioli, and Ravioli Lasagna.
