Ingredients
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 c. (1 stick) Unsalted butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
1/4 c. sour cream
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1Preheat oven to 325°. Spray the insides of four half-pint mason jars with cooking spray. Step 2In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Step 3In another large bowl, mix together butter, sugar, egg and egg yolk, sour cream, and vanilla. Add mashed bananas and stir until combined. Step 4Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and divide between mason jars, filling each jar about halfway. Step 5Place on a large baking sheet and bake until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
