Ingredients
3 bananas, halved and sliced lengthwise
1 tbsp. butter
1 batch prepared pancake batter (see below)
Melted chocolate, for dipping
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. kosher salt
3/4 c. whole milk
1/2 c. sour cream
2 large eggs
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, brown sugar, and salt. Step 2In a separate bowl, whisk together milk and sour cream, then add eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Step 3Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until just combined.
Step 1In a large bowl, dip bananas in pancake batter. Step 2In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add dipped bananas and let cook until golden, 2 minutes per side.Step 3Serve with melted chocolate for dipping.

Have an air fryer? This recipe works well in it, though each batch takes about 15 minutes.
